Construction is underway to expand Academy's campus, double enrollment.

Lakeland to unveil first city-owned building with LEED certification. 

Construction of the $14.5 million technology center to be completed by early next year. 

"The building was the former Lakeland Community Credit Union which the City acquired in 2003.  The project included renovation and new construction completed August 2012.  The City contracted with SCMH Architects and the project was completed by Rodda Construction, Inc."

Officials said they expect people from around the country to travel to the new $1.3 million park off Bartow Road across from Lakeland High School."

Members of the Bartow Chamber of Commerce's Committee of 100 toured the technology center site on Friday.
