Rodda Construction has been honored to help complete all major renovations at the Florida home of the Detroit Tigers Major League Baseball Team since 2000. The most recent project, completed in 2017 includes new seating areas, a 360 degree walk around for the stadium, club seating, press box and suite expansions, new batting cage facilities, turf practice field, new offices, kitchen and dining facilities, party decks, major and minor league clubhouses, hydrotherapy pools, training rooms, locker rooms, laundry facilities, umpire locker rooms, concession areas, and other related spaces. Previous projects included major stadium renovations, new baseball fields, a two story office building and locker room complex, training room including offices, tables, and rehabilitation areas. Also added were six luxury suites and full renovations to the press box area. A new Mediterranean themed façade was created which added walkways, concession, and common areas to the outside of the stadium. Also included was a new precast seats, a video scoreboard and a seating berm in left field which is decorated by wood trellises and lush landscaping, increasing capacity to almost 9,000. Rodda also was called upon by the City of Lakeland to complete Hurricane Repairs to the Stadium following the devastating 2004 Hurricane Season.
